Ice storm damage
Okay, this is not funny anymore. Ten years ago, my house never lost power, never even flickered. This ice storm not only have we lost power but it keeps flickering on and off. One would think that with the increases in electric rates, the power would be more reliable, but it seems to be just the opposite. Yes, I know that transformers blow up, but this flickering on and off stuff has nothing to do with a transformer.
Is the city going to replace appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, and the like because of this on – off thing that is going on or are they going to play dumb and make us prove that the surges that come with this on again – off again thing? Judging from my interaction with the city, it's going to probably be the latter.
