This was mentioned about the drop off at Easter, this is from the UK...what if it catches on here? First the schools, then Wal-mart!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...d-pyjamas.html Schools are following Tesco's example and taking a stand against parents who turn up at the gates wearing pyjamas. They are chastising parents for dropping children off - and collecting them in the afternoon - without first changing out of their nightwear and slippers. One head has written to parents warning that their failure to get dressed for the school run is 'slovenly and rude'. |

Momma says get yout bum out of bed, get dressed, and set a good example for your kids. I don't think P.J.s have a place in public. The only time someone should wear slippers in public is for a medical reason. I had to do it the last month I was prego because me feet were so swollen I couldn't fit them into anything except. I was terribly embarrassed. My husband said "don't worry who would be brave enough to say anything about it to a pregnant women".
I went with my sister-in-law and 3 niece just to see what black Friday was like this year. I about fell over a mother, her teenage daughter, and teenage son all had their P.J.s on along with slippers in Targets. They looked like idiots. |

More of their body is covered in PJ's than if wearing a bikini. I ain't gonna gripe.

Who wants to see someone in their P.J.s anyway. If grownups can wear PJ's in public then kids will think they can do this too. Kids need to be dressed appropriately for the occassion and so do adults. Present yourself with some respect.

Whatever happened to dressing to go out in public anyway. I used to work at an office where the public entered all the time. The way some people dressed, you'd think they just got up to come in to pay their bill. It was so sad. And I've seen parents on cold days barely dress their babies...no socks, blanket, or coat. I would like to see the days were jeans and t-shirts weren't the norm to wear everywhere. I try to get my girls to dress up just a little and to take some pride in their appearance. Maybe that's it...people just don't have enough pride in themselves to dress themselves appropriately....
